How do we extract Livesport from a single massive file generated by PHP and a few modules in CoffeeScript? What modern technologies and approaches should we choose?
Our first steps toward modernization involved ES6 syntax, a linter, and a formatter. Soon we were rolling out React with RxJS, and our enthusiasm slowly began to shift the mindset of the entire company. We decided to challenge the established PHP as well and introduced TypeScript to the backend, which allows us to render React on the server.
