Radek Pavlíček

Radek has been working in the field of digital accessibility since 1998. Whether working alone or with his team at the Teiresiás Center at Masaryk University under the Théseus project, he successfully helps improve the accessibility of digital products for a wide range of organizations, both large and small, including Czech Television, Czech Radio, the Financial Administration, Dr. Max, and the Brno City Hall. He also writes about accessibility on the blog Poslepu.cz and still believes that one day he’ll write a book about it :-)

Radek is the first certified accessibility specialist in the Czech Republic and a member of the International Association of Accessibility Specialists.

For more than twenty years of work on activities aimed at mitigating or removing barriers in the digital space—on websites, in applications, and in documents—he received the Mosty Award from the National Council of People with Disabilities of the Czech Republic in 2023.
