Panel Discussion: "The Present and Future of Work in IT"

AI is transforming not only how we create software but also the very nature of the developer role. As machines write an increasing share of the code, what will define a developer? Will we still focus primarily on learning syntax and frameworks, or will judgment, communication, and the ability to take ownership of the outcome become more important?

We will discuss the changing job market, the recruitment of junior developers, and evolving corporate expectations. Will AI lead to fewer jobs, or will it open up development roles to people from other fields? Will developers split into two camps: broad "agent orchestrators" and deep technical specialists? Don't expect a crystal-ball prediction of the future; instead, look forward to diverse perspectives on the transformation we are all experiencing right now.
